The Pembroke Community

The Pembroke at Fort Lee is a welcoming place where neighbors become friends. Our building is more than 90% owner occupied – a benefit assuring you a stable population not subject to frequent tenant turnover.  Whether encounters take place in our book-lined meeting room over a game of bridge, partaking in one of our community poolside barbeques, or sharing an exhilarating workout in our Health Club, Pembroke People have formed numerous social circles around common interests.

The Pembroke Pet Policy establishes rules and procedures for harboring domestic animals, including dogs.

Our volunteer board, comprised of elected shareowner representatives, is singularly focused on their mission: “To preserve and enhance the investment of our shareholders and to provide residents the optimum level of services and amenities at a cost consistent with the marketplace.”

The Pembroke Newsletter regularly apprises our shareowners of relevant developments, supplemented by timely postings on ourFacebook Page.

Our uniformed door staff provides courteous service to residents and guests - helping load groceries into convenient carts for transfer to the residence via the service elevator, accepting and signing for parcels and packages, including incoming and outgoing dry cleaning. Our electronic notification system advises residents when incoming deliveries are available at the concierge desk.

Our staff has broad experience in routine building maintenance. Residents can complete building-related work requests online. Schedule permitting, for a nominal charge, residents may also request minor maintenance tasks outside the scope of co-op responsibility .
